“Very Disappointing Chicken Hotpot”
The restaurant is very traditional Japanese. Private room. Beautiful garden. Expectations were high as price quoted 6000Yen PP. Had previously had wonderful meals without exception for a week in Kyoto, including Kaiseki, overlooking river for much less. The chicken consisted of a lot of skin, and ne...cks! It was very unappetising, the volume was too much for 4 people. We thought maybe dessert was to come, but were told here is your bill instead! This was the only disappointment on 10 wonderful days in Kyoto.

“very nice Japanese style!”
The menu is only a chicken nabe. Nebe- a hot pot cooked at the table.It is delicious! I love it.I eat the meal in a private room always.It is not necessary to pay the special price of the private room.The price is about 7,000 yen per person.
