“a restaurant with varieties ”
this is one of the many restaurants located at dotonbori. it’s relatively ‘quieter’ so we love it. most people come here for hot pots. the restaurant offers set menu for hot pots. globe fish or pufferfish is a feature of the menu. we opted for ala carte, sampling shashimi, fried tofu, beef soup, ...fried octopus, grilled eels and sushi. thought the fish is fresh. overall a satisfactory meal. personally i like the fried tofu the most.

“Blowfish”
Heard of so much about Blowfish and therefore went to Jihei for a blowfish dinner. Unfortunately, blowfish does not give me any surprise at all. The fish is served in sashimi style and hot-pot style. Regrettably the fish is "tasteless" in both ways. The fish is fresh, but it just doesn't have a tast...e of its own or a normal taste of any fish. Frankly, don' think it is worth paying a lot of money for a "poison" removed fish - you probably have paid for the licence fee of the professional Chef who is licensed to slice Blowfish into pieces for a sashimi plate. Won't try it again.

“Amazing! ”
Lovely place with river view. The globe fish and wagu beef are very tender and tasty. Best ever! The waitress can speak Chinese, which made us order so easy. The manager is super nice, a fun character. We ordered the globe fish hot pot for one, wagu beef, assorted sashimi ( best ever), together wit...h a hot sake which got lighted before drinking! The price is so reasonable. We thought it would end up with $200, but it only slightly over $100. Quite amazing!
