“Sets are very economical”
The sets are reasonably priced and has a good selection of grilled and fried items. They also have an English menu which helps a little. In the grilled set I believe there is a skewer which is chicken liver and if you are not a fan, perhaps try to get them to switch it for something else? I enjoyed ...the fried skewers more than the grilled ones though.

“Namba City branch”
They have a small branch inside the Namba City , which you will pass if you will take the subway. We wanted to try a Yakitori place and it was the closest one . They do not have an English menu so we tried to manage by just pointing to the displays and the menu. Food is ok but I did not like the chi...cken liver.

“Food OK, service average, cleanliness more or less OK, not recommended if you don't smoke!”
Food was good but not excellent. Service was nothing special. The table and the menu papers were just a little greasy, just enough to remind us they were not given a good scrub for a while. Several smokers puffing away in nearby tables gave a new meaning to smoked meat. Overall honestly I could ...not recommend it over most other yakitori joints.

“Salaryman food at its best”
Osaka is not dainty or beautiful or elegant or ephemeral. It is gaudy, nondescript, sprawling, bold. I only ever use Osaka as a base. But five years' ago, I walked into this restaurant and have never forgotten it since. It served me food that was neither dainty nor elegant. When I visited Japan last... month, I made it a point to return. It is the same rowdy, smokey place filled with salarymen. I asked for an English menu and was told there was none. There is an English menu; I was given one five years' ago. Undeterred, I tried my luck with another waiter and he gruffly handed me the English menu. Be patient, and have a sense of humour, and you'll be rewarded with skewer after skewer of perfectly grilled mushrooms, chicken, leeks, prawns. The taste is bold and unapologetic. Nothing distracts you from the food - none of the attentive service, none of the creative plating. The man next to me tells me he is customer ichiban, goes there every night for his beer, sake and sweet potato fries. I think I understand why. Be prepared to leave the restaurant smelling of grilled meat and oil, but really, it is worth it.

“Above average, pls try!”
My first lunch in osaka after arriving. Just opposite Takashimaya (Namba Station), with English menu and waitress able to speak simple English. Food is above average, take your time to taste food with a beer!
