Mannen

Being a self-proclaimed foodie and all-round picky eater, this ramen place blew my mind! Of all the ramen places I have eaten at around Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, Hiroshima) and internationally (Hong Kong, Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland), Mannen is hands-down the best ramen restaurant! I chose ...the tsukemen, whilst my partner chose the traditional tonkotsu. They were both 10/10 in terms of depth of flavour, fat content (I usually avoid foods with lots of fat as it can make my stomach feel quite upset, but the fatty content on the soup enhanced the flavour and richness monumentally) and texture. I cannot describe how amazing this Ramen experience was in words. Putting the food aside, the staff were friendly, and we were even gifted 2 Mannen fans as the weather was sweltering outside. It was conveniently located a mere 3-minute walk from the hotel we were staying at - Hearton Hotel Minami Senba, and right next to the busy Shinsaibashi.

Specalise in pork soup and they nailed it. Very intense delicious pork soup base ramen. Cheap price and sets a must visit
