Recommended by our hotel and this restaurant was terrible.Ordered the set menu they suggested and they served chicken that was in sufficiently cooked and fatty. In addition never got what was supposed to be served. This restaurant is a rip off and my suggestion is to stay away from here. Can’t under...stand why anyone eats here. STAY AWAY

Well worth a visit. Feels authentic. Not expensive but good food. Small place with 16 spaces. We booked for our second visit. Attentive staff and English menu translation. We enjoyed sitting at the bar eating our food. Highly recommend. Google maps took us to their door.!!

This place was fantastic. The server spoke a fair bit of English. The menu was in English. The prices were very fair. And the food was fantastic! The drinks were good as well. It is the street parallel to and just east of Kiyamachi-dori. The name on Maps is only in Japanese. It's just a tiny alley. ...Really great though. I suggest it!

TOURISTS TO AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Looking through the widow, it was busy and reasonably inviting for early dinner. We perused the menu and made some choices. It was all downhill from there. Everything we asked for, the chicken, the beef, the cod, each priced at around ¥700 was a ‘no’ as in not avail...able. It swiftly became clear that everything was available as a substitute with the set course dinner at ¥3,000+. We were not allowed to choose single dishes from the menu, as the locals around us could. This is appalling, racist and a host of other adjectives I will leave you to imagine. Meanwhile, we checked with Tripadvisor while we sat there and noted the stream of complaints. This was a very disappointing experience and we saw nothing else like it during our wonderful visit to Japan.
