“Average-tasting udon”
Restaurant was (at best) half full at 6:30 pm on a Sunday night. The lack of a crowd was quickly explained by the quality of food. We ordered a nabeyaki udon and a tenzaru soba - the udon broth, while competently executed, was nothing out of the ordinary by Japan standards. Similarly, the soba and t...he accompanying tempura were merely average. Nothing bad about the food, just nothing which stood out. We left feeling quite dissatisfied and felt that our time and money could easily have been better spent elsewhere.

“Udon and more Udon”
We were walking all over Osaka to have lunch and we accidentally got in this area where this restaurant was located. It was lunch hour and the place was crowded. We had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The restaurant is every inviting and the waitresses wore traditional kimonos. The food... was excellent and the service fast. A definite must visit again when in Osaka.

“Traditional udon place 50+yrs history ”
One of the oldest udon place in Osaka, or maybe the oldest. Staff dress in kimono. Traditional old wooden buildings. Really special place. Food are great with style. Mostly locals which is good. Need to make reservation. Highly suggested. Staffs can speak English well, one had studied at Australia ...before with strong Aussie accent. Really nice . FYI, udon is all you can eat...
