“Local good soba restaurant!”
Authentic Japanese soba noodles shop. A restaurant in the midst of buildings, filled with locals only. Nice handmade cold soba noodles! Soba is made fresh, really nice and affordable sets! The 5 mixed rice is nice too! Just right next to the Namba Yasaka Shrine.

“Soba noodles”
Tempura was over battered and a little greasy. Not good when put on a noodle broth either. Soggy tempura, yuk. Soba noodles ok but nothing special. A very average experience sadly.

“Average”
A usual ramen store selling regular ramen. Nothing fanciful. Texture of noodle is crunchy. Soup tasted average.

“a diamond in the rough”
We stumbled into this place not knowing where we could find a reasonable meal. The space was nice. The service was welcome. The food was absolutely amazing. We hadn't meant to eat here at all, but we did, and liked it so much we came back. Now that we are far, far, away from Osaka, we yearn for thos...e flavors. YUMMY!

“Healthy is nice too”
2nd try of a soba shop and the 1st was insanely bad. This shop calling themselves a main shop with a nice shop front and filled with customer during lunch time at a slight further corner of Namba, was really worth the time. The soba was really well times and the sauces mixed with grinned sesame ad...ded to the uniqueness( although i had taste better ones with sesame oil, sesame and raw quail egg) But the authentic part of it is really cool, We didn't try the hot noodle as we are not big fans of hot portions of soba but many customers ordered which makes it feel like i should try it. The tempura was awesome, crispy outside, juicy inside ( basically you don't feel you are eating something fattening) and a zen feel when the food come prepared.. The cool thing was the miso soup that comes with it is the most original of its kind. A must try as it comes with the noodle and rice set. The rice set also comes with a side salad that is awesome, the healthiness is part of the food, but tastiness is just as brilliant. Food:**** Price:***( slightly pricier than the small shops) Ambience:***( authentic ) Service:****( as good as japan) English manual available Try it, as a soba fan should give it a higher rating seriously...
