“Good food and vibe”
Walked past this place and it felt inviting, gave it a try and ya worth the trip. Price fairly high but seems normal. Have western menu and lots of drinks options. If getting a pizza make sure you go fir Napoli base as the crispy will buy fill you up.

“Mostly good quality ”
Visited this restaurant with my wife and daughter. Looking at the menu from the street the pricing and selection looked promising. BBQ Beef and Pork, pasta, pizza, salad, antipasto, etc. Prices seemed on par for similar places we have come across on our travels around Japan. We were seated and our o...rder taken promptly. We struck up a conversation with the couple next too us who told us this was their favourite restaurant and in their opinion it was the best restaurant in Japan. I thought this was high praise indeed and it raised my expectations. The meal was a selection of good and disappointing. The pizza was tasty but tiny. We had too order a second pizza as the first (which had the thin crust) was more like an hors d'oeuvres. The Pork, which is the signature dish, was full of inedible gristle. Our pasta fish was very good but again tiny. The salad was good, fresh and reasonable portion. We ordered some other dishes, all good quality but small. What was really disappointing was that even after we ordered half the menu plus drinks the restaurant stung us for table water on our bill. This was the only place in Japan where we were charged for table water. In summary the food was a mix of very good to average quality, the portions are tiny, and the service was good. We have had some amazing meals in In Japan, all ranging from cheap eateries to high end restaurants, Volta ranks towards the bottom. Its has promise but its inconsistency in quality, coupled with its price to quantity let it down. The price gouging on table water was just poor, especially after all the money we spent there. There are plenty of other restaurants around this area that exceed Volta for quality and value.

“Unique atmosphere, great food, and very cool staff!”
If you ever heard the Greeks yell "Opaaa" then come to this place to hear some Japanese Opaaa. But I didn't go there just for the loud and happy yelling - the food was great. The place was pretty busy even though it was well past 22:00. I took a seat at the bar and had the large steak (300 g) and it... was absolutely fantastic. Cooked to perfection, seasoned just right and cut in bite size pieces. I also tried the crispy 4 cheese pizza (quattro stagioni) and it also was great - it was more like a desert how good it was. The beer is nice and cold and comes in a cold glass. The staff was very friendly and most of them speak English as well. All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely come for a return visit.

“So friendly, lively, and tasty!”
Me and my father (from USA) came here because it was close to the Hilton. It was busy, but they sat us within minutes. The staff was so friendly, and who I believe is the owner cane table to table and spoke great English. Everything we had was tasty and there’s one cook who does it all behind a glas...s wall, so it’s all visible! Fresh and unique ingredients made the food not only prepared well but was a great meal overall. Staff all had friendly smiles and the restaurant was quirky with lots of character.

“Popular Spot for Young Office Workers”
We gathered here for a going away party and enjoyed it. We had several pizzas, a couple bottles of wine, and several plates of pasta and other delicacies. We heard that the chef recently arrived from an upscale eatery and he is said to have improved the food and the feel of the restaurant. They brou...ght out our dessert with sparklers and "Bon Voyage" written in chocolate on the plate. Get there early so you can enjoy Happy Hour prices.
