“Neither Italian nor Japanese food”
This restaurant is located in the hotel Portopia and it offers Italian as well as Japanese food. I had some pasta that were supposed to be Italian and a Wagyu curry that should have been Japanese. Both dishes were really very disappointing for the price. Especially the Wagyu curry tasted like it has... been served directly out of a pre manufactured dish from a plastic wrap directly from a microwave oven. The pasta was terrible: too much strange sauce and not al dente. Only the service was excellent.

“Italian + japanese”
Mainly an italian restaurant, with some japanese items thrown in. Nice thing about them is that they appear to open between standard meal times, as we entered at 2pm looking for lunch. My risotto was too wet, the pizza was ok. Service is good as usual since this is japan On hindsight, should have j...ust ordered the japanese dishes

“Great breakfast buffet, good ala carte”
This is my go to place for western food when staying in the fashion district. The staff are great and the food is prepared in full view. The french onion soup is amazing.

“Delicious”
This is one of the good restaurants in Portopia hotel in the port island. The ambience of the hotel is very good and the interiors are also very stylish. This is not the regular Japanese kind of restaurants, you will find menu which has other dishes as well. So you would find pizzas, sandwiches, pas...tas etc which are not typical Jaan hotel menus. The staff is very good, infact i wanted a chicken pizza which was not in the list, but they still obliged and made the dish where they put chicken peices in the pizza margherita. the pastas are also very good. The resto also has a set lunch menu whihc is a buffet kind and has some great eatery. This menu is set every 2 to 3 weeks. there are no restaurants near by any which ways and this should be your best bet for people not from the country. This was close to our warehosue locaiton which made it convinient for us to walk down the hotel.

“Very Nice for a Business Lunch”
This restaurant in the Portopia Hotel seems to pick up a lot of business from conferences held at the neighboring Kobe International Convention Center. Although our group came shortly before 2, the place was still bustling and there was still a line outside the door an hour later. My colleagues had ...the daily specials, which are about two thousand yen. I had the Kobe Beef Strogranoff; the beef was tender and the sauce was excellent. The tiramisu was very good, too. The waiters looked efficient, but they were a little overwhelmed by the crowd.
