We ordered two sets - kobe beef and saukiyaki. Both sets were very tasty, the service was very friendly and fast. The atmosphere was calm and quite, however we visited not during a rush hour. Thanks !!

The foods was alright. The blowfish hotpot was bland. The sukiyaki set was pretty good compared to the shabushabu set, 4 pieces of tiny meat. Services was lackadaisical. It was a bit overpriced, and underwhelming overall.

We are visiting Nara and looking for a place for lunch. Found this place with great reviews. My disapointment : very bad service. After a warm welcome from the staff at the entre, we took our site and watch the waiters cruising around taking orders and serving kinda delicious meal, but we are takin...g apart, none has come to us, and more than 20 min later, I just look straight to a waiter that finally wants to take the order! Because I was stairing at them for minutes.

Love this place. Everything is so pretty and tasty too. Healthy also. Price is reasonable for what you get. Service is also good. Surprisingly they are able to speak English to us quite clearly.

This restaurant is situated steps away from Kintetsu Nara, on the very busy Higashimuki Dori itself (not to be confused with Tsukihitei the ryokan near Kasuga Taisha Shrine). However, as it is further in and on the second floor of a building, it can be easily missed even with its posters and displ...ay counters on the first floor (on ground level). We found it by chance, and we were glad we did! It was really quiet on the night we were there as it was close to their closing time, am not sure how busy it is at peak hours. The ambience was pleasant. And the food - Japanese cuisine - was gooood! Both the sashimi and beef sets we ordered were so delicious and fresh. Very satisfied. So if you are looking for nice Japanese cuisine in Kintetsu Nara area, try this place out.
