“Great Food, Great Service”
If you are hungry after a hard day at work or sightseeing and are in the mood for a convivial evening with others, then this is the place to go. Aburiya offers an extensive menu of meat, condiments, seafood, soups, salads, noodles, rice and desserts for an all you can eat price. The menu is availabl...e in English. On arrival, diners are shown to their own cubicle which has bench seats either side of a table with a barbecue grill in the middle. When the waitress or waiter comes to the table to take your order you should order multiple dishes and every time you want to reorder, just press the call button on the table and someone will come to take your request and clear your empty plates. Sometimes "all you can eat" establishments sacrifice quality for quantity but at Aburiya, the quality of the food is very good. Since you are cooking the meat yourself, you can prepare it to your liking. You can also order as many drinks as you would like. These include soft drinks, beer, wine, sake, highballs with a whiskey base and other mixes. Sittings are timed and when your time is nearly up, you will be asked to place your last order. I was accompanied by five Japanese friends who often eat here and were able to recommend various dishes for me to try but the waiting staff is well mannered and friendly and will help you choose. The price decreases according to age, so if you are over 50, 60 or 70 your bill is reduced by 10%-30%. Check to see if this applies to non Japanese people. Reservations are recommended.
