We had dinner here with my host during a business trip. At first I was slightly disappointed that they chose Thai restaurant, as I would imagine when in Japan, eat Japanese food. We had to have our Temperature checked and had hand disinfectant at the entrance for Covid prevention My host already ...ordered a set course meal which was for sharing, but we were given the option for a timed unlimited drinks. Most of the group ordered alcoholic drinks, while I ordered Ginger Ale, which actually was nice and spicy. The unlimited drinks made sure we were busy ordering another round in between conversations and eating through the course. About the food, it was actually a pleasant surprise for me. i have had Thai food in Thailand several times over several years of visiting, I had them in Philippines as well, but the food offered during our meal here, were quite unique/different. I even mentioned this to my host, that even the soup was not normal Tomyumkun. It was interesting that they served Thai sausages, which I never heard or tried before (it was okay). I actually lost track of what I ate as it was pre ordered course, but as I mentioned they were refreshingly different and I dont think they are fusion either. I didnt even get to sneak a photo or two. It was the first Thai food I have had since the pandemic, so at the end I enjoyed it very much specially considering my initial concern about why we are eating Thai in Japan? :)

This is very pleasant venue with up market Thai Style decor and traditional Thai Music which was a bit over the top. The service was a bit haphazard but fine. The food was a little disappointing as we'd had Thai the previous night and this place didn't match up but had higher prices. We ordered ...almost exactly the same dishes, so it was an accurate comparison. Some dishes were a little too spicy, and the vegetables portion we ordered was tiny. In essence, the place is very nice, food absolutely fine, but there are better value Thai places if you're more into the food than the decor.

Met up with friend for dinner here, nicely decorated Thai joint. A welcoming spicy change from the milder taste of Japanese cuisine. Quite spicy for Japanese standard, We ordered Tom Yum Shrimp that has broth quite full of cayenne pepper paste, Spicy Beef Salad was a bit tough, spring roll comes wit...h spicy mango sauce and dried longan sauce, and finished the meal with basil stir fried seafood. While the dishes are spicy, the balance and contrast of flavors I normally find in top notch Thai restaurant seemed to be lacking, the ingredients are not as fresh as the usually are in Japan, the mussels and squid seemed to be the frozen variety. They did not used julienned carrots in the spring roll, instead it is one single large piece of carrot that is too hard to bite and overpowering the shrimp, which is supposed to be the star of that dish.

Kaomangai is simple cooking, as you know. But here it is the special, the best Thai dish ever in Japan. Chicken is juicy. Amazing Long Rice taste fabulous and also smells like flower ! Herb & Spice in Karee is fresh and tasteful with complex flavor. I felt all dishes in this restaurant are made from... Good Ingredient, especially high class SEAFOOD !! Try Soft shell Clab in Boo Paht Pong Karee. Lunch Buffet is served everyday. foe Dinner, better to make reservation.
