“Great value and enjoyable food for Aussies”
We've been in Japan for three weeks and are a bit over Japanese food. But this place has Japanese food with a difference. It is in the Namba Parks restaurant precinct on the 6th floor. For ¥1573 including tax you get 90 minutes to indulge in the food. For an extra ¥1050 including tax you get unlimit...ed alcoholic drinks including High Ball whiskey which sells for ¥458 for a glass so the drinks package was very good value. They continually come and take your order for drinks and are very attentive. At each table is a deep fryer and you get up and choose individual skewers with small pieces of the food you want to eat. Beef, chicken, pork and prawns and calamari were all there as well as lots of vegetables, bread and wontons. You dip the food into a bowl of batter then into breadcrumbs and deep fry it for about two minutes. There are lots of sauces but the citrus and radish were our favourite. There is also a dessert buffet with a chocolate fondue, soft serve ice cream and another area with soups and a couple of pasta dishes, kind of like a Sizzler restaurant. We are still full seven hours later. Not really wholesome food but this would be a fun place to take kids. I also got to try a couple of Japanese cakes I have seen but just wanted to taste, without having to buy a full slice. It is a nice change from other Japanese food. It is a franchise and there are other restaurants in Japan.
