“Good food, lovely service”
We had a lovely diner here. The spaghetti Bolognaise and the pizza were Italian. The waitress and the chef both took care of us. They didn't speak English very well but we did understand each other. The dessert were also nice. Except the crème brullee. It was served frozen. We could even have espres...so and it tasted good! Althoug we didn't have enough yen, fortunately they accepted our American dollar. They don't accept credit cards so be aware. Good restaurant if you're looking for an evening European food. Did I mention that the staff was truely friendly and helpfull? They were. Such kind people.

“Wonderful food and service”
We stopped in at this restaurant close to our accommodation after a late check in. We ordered the set menu for 2 ppl. The food was terrific, the beef ragu up there with the most tasty Italian we have had & the entre salad esp delicious. When it came to settling the bill their staff were exceedingly ...accommodating when we realised we were 300yen short, the ATMs were closed and they don't accept cards. The moral of the story is eat here and always carry plenty of cash when in Japan!

“Delightful discovery”
Having just come to Kyoto after two weeks in Italy, I at first resisted Japanese Italian food, but the restaurant was convenient to where We were staying, so We went in. Despite my expectations, the spaghetti I ordered was delicious, in fact far better than similar dishes I had eaten in Italy itself.... My family accompanying me agreed that this was a find to be treasured. We went back to order different dishes later and were equally pleased. It deserves a try!
