“a panoramic view of Kyoto”
This is a convenient cafe with a panoramic view of the night view of Kyoto. It doesn't seem to be open during the day now, but it was a good place where you could enjoy the night view, Italian, alcohol, cafe, and even dessert.

“Truffle pizza ”
Despite what Wayne says, this truffle/egg pizza was on par with most meals in Japan. Recommend just for that dish! Semi fancy

“A hidden gem!”
The hotel receptionist told us about this place and it became our favourite stop off at the end of an evening. You'd never spot it on your travels and you wonder what you're heading to as you take a nondescript elevator to the top floor! It's well worth a visit though. The staff are lovely - as is t...he beer and the prosecco. Make it your place for a night cap and enjoy the views of Kyoto.

“Fun place to come for a drink”
Come here for a drink post dinner! Fun, lively, and good view. Good selection of drinks, and also some desserts. Only thing to consider is it is a little smoky inside

“Great view from above”
Ace cafe is hidden away up a set of lifts of downtown Kyoto. Four of us visited late on Monday night. Great view from above. Good atmosphere. Friendly and observant staff. Food and alcohol served. Prices above average but worth it for the view.
