This was an incredible experience. I don't usually eat a lot of beef, but the wagyu (I think) was simply incredible. Beautifully marbled and with delightfully simple dips on the side. We got a conscience saving serving of raw veggies too and some pumpkin for barbecuing as well, but the meat was fron...t and centre, and it was glorious.

My wife and I visited tonight and chose combination of Sirloin, cheateubriand and pork along with salad and vegetables. We cooked our own meal with some assistance. The salad was awesome but the steak was so marbled and juicy that it just melted- particularly the cheateubriand. Total cost JPY11,00...0 and worth every penny.

Last 2 nights in Japan and hubby amd I are spending these in osaka. Wanted to wait for this special Japanese beef dinner here. We were supposed to go to another restaurant tomorrow but since its Sunday it might be shut. Decided to rush to get a table at this restaurant but we didn't go in, it looked... so expensive. Yes I know it's supposed to be special and we were prepared to pay the price for this wonderful tasty beef, it looked a bit stuffy and we were not dressed as we rushed out to get a table. In the end, we found Issho. It didn't cost a lot but the kobe beef I had was just amazing teamed up with excellent friendly service!!! Hubby had chateubriand, small in comparison to my kobe but seriously good. No need for salt or any other sauces. You need to taste the beef on its own. Love grilling them myself. We certainly will go back tomorrow. By the way, my kobe beef was so rich and tasty that even for me I couldn't finish it all by myself. Hubby shared the half with me. It is very rare for me to write anything about food here on TripAdvisor but I need to share this for sure. It's on kyobashi station just near the way out. Just show the business card to someone from your hotel and ask them to show you on the street map. Enjoy!!!!
