Takatori

This is what you’d call a hidden gem. It’s right off from the major tourist area. I was walking by and was greeted by a friendly gentleman who offered to have me look at the menu. Primarily chicken dishes are served here; as in neck meat, tail meat, skin, heart, and kidney. Also tried the pork belly.... Best food I’ve had in Japan! The dedication of the chef to create the perfect char, smokiness, and juiciness should not be understated. It’s honestly, like watching Rembrandt paint. Can summarize restaurant with fair prices, spectacular service, and an invigorating atmosphere!
