“A taste of Taiwan in Osaka Hommachi..”
Chanced upon this restaurant when I was heading to the nearby Komeda cafe. There was a lunchtime queue outside consisting of office workers. The xiaolongbao (steamed pork dumplingd) were extremely good. My kid gulped down the entire fried rice in seconds. The sweet and sour pork was light and cru...nchy. While I had tasted better sweet and sour pork options, I must say that the accompanying vinegary sauce was very flavorful and I scooped up every drop of thr sauce. It was a great dip with the xiaolongbao too. My favorite dish was the Taiwanese ramen with minced meat and chillies. Have tasted anything like this before - the broth was slurpy good; the spice level was just right (not too overpowering) and the texture of the ramen was hovering between a Taiwanese mixian and Jap ramen. I would come back just for this dish again! Went during dinner and the restaurant offers half sized portions for certain dishes as well as set meal options (two sides with a drink).
