I had seen this restaurant described online as being “casual Italian” so I was expecting a pizza joint. This restaurant is much better than that - the upstairs seating area is very nice. They offer a wide variety of pizzas and pastas. I had a pizza that was reasonably sized for one person and wa...s very good. My wife spoke highly of her pasta dish. Recommended.

The food was good and of value! But the best part of our visit was the waiter! So accommodating and kind. Even recommended some of their best selections. He even asked if we want him to take a picture of me and my friend. I believe his name was Maru-chan i think? Give that man a raise!

Awesome pasta and pizza, loved it. Service is warm, helpful & friendly. Downstairs is a bar & dining, the upstairs there is plenty of seating. I can definitely recommend the Bolognese pasta, Four Cheeses pasta & Margarita pizza all excellent.

My Wife and I had just visited Nijo Castle and were looking for a quick bite of lunch nearby as we were quite hungry. Google maps recommended this cafe as it was one of the nearest to us. The cafe was quite easy to find and the staff were friendly. They had an English menu and explained that they ...only serve set lunches with more options at dinner. They make their own pasta on the premises and the food was simple and tasty. I definitely would return if I'm ever back in the area!

I was a bit hesitated as it wasn't much reviewed and we were recommended here by the Crowne Plaza. We wanted to eat something on new year's eve, and unfortunately all the good restaurants were already fully booked (shame on us that we didn't book ahead), so we were recommended on this one by the Cr...owne Plaza. The restaurant was very empty, with only 2 tables occupied when we entered (8pm~). Took the waiters a while to bring us the menu. We ordered some salads (caprese and green) and 2 main courses, pasta dishes. The dishes were good, not amazing, but well worth the price. Service was a bit off, a bit slow, not really helpful. The do charge for Parmesan cheese... wait what? Overall was OK, you could go here for a quick dinner if you're staying nearby.
