Shabusen Shinkobe

We ordered shabu shabu with wagyu and with the meat and bulion you get all you can eat vegetables with that! It was delicious! fresh tasty ingridients, the meat was super soft and tender! Relatively cheap, I think for the quality of food it is really value for money! affordable place, staff do not s...peak english but they try to explain you things with the hands and smile :) they provide english instructions for customers new to shabu shabu, but you can risk ordering anything from the menu and it will turn out to be good 100% ! Close to shinkobe station in the kind of a hotel mall building. If you have to change trains/ shinkansen from Kobe to Kyoto/Osaka/Tokyo it might be a good spot for lunch before the journey.

Having tried Saga beef in Fukuoka, Hida beef in Takayama, and now Kobe beef in Kobe....am of opinion that Kobe beef is perhaps a tad overrated, given the amount of dough you have to pay out for it. Nevertheless, we decided to do a Shabu Shabu with Kobe beef, and Shabusen came out as a suggestion. Do...ing lunch (instead of dinner) helps to Ensure a lower price point for the meal. The sets are evenly priced with the ¥2500 set offering great value". And, q if you really want more beef, just take the extra option for more beef with ¥1500 cost. Tried the pork set as well (¥1250) and it's tasty too. The buffet bar for additional vegetables (no extra cost) is a plus point too, making for a totally satisfying meal. I'd recommend the visit for a bite of Kobe beef w/o breaking the bank!
