“American/British style sandwiches ”
The people speak enough English. They are nice and helpful. Unfortunately they allow smoking which I am not used to. The food, salad is fresh and just like a salad from England. The egg sandwich is more like an egg omelet put between two pieces of bread. Ash only

“Low key Americana”
If you are expecting a fully themed 50s style American diner you will be disappointed as the diner is much more low key than that. Food was decent, albeit there was limited choice. Service was efficient. Worth 3.5 stars.

“Not worth it”
This was our only bad experience in 10 days in Japan. It’s a charming 1940s cafe (and we walked 20 min for breakfast to see it) but don’t admire anything too intently or dare to take pictures or you’ll be scolded by the staff. The food was average junkissa small sandwiches, coffee, toast and boiled ...egg. They do allow smoking and it was quite smoky at breakfast. But the real disappointment was the staff - they scolded us for standing at the bottom of the stairs (which are roped off) and looking up, for taking a picture while we were eating and were otherwise the only rude people we met in 10 days in Japan.

“Lovely place for late breakfast ”
Easy to find, nice food and atmosphere. Love the old school American decor and styling. Think ‘Mad Men’ the TV series, but as a cafe. We went on a Thursday morning and it wasn’t busy, so it was a nice relaxing place to sit and have a late breakfast. Service was wonderful as it has been everywhere he...re. Nice coffee too.

“Coffee”
It was only one of cafe latte which was 650yen! It's kind of costly as good location. カフェラテ1杯で650yenは高いけど場所的に仕方ないのでしょうか?22:45になるとキッチンは電気が消えて早く客に帰って欲しそうな感じでした。老舗なのに残念。でもオーナーらしきレジの女性は親切でした。
