“Restaurant descrimiate non-Japanese speaking customers, providing unfair service.”
If you don’t know Japanese, don’t go there. We never expect that we would have such bad experience in Osaka as most restaurants staffs are polite and have great service... but unfortunately, this Aburiya Sennichimae is just really bad. We went to the restaurant at 8:30pm walk in, but the waiter told... us that we have to wait until 9:45pm for a table. So we ask them if we can book for any of the following days in the week as we are staying for a week. The waiter told us that it’s all full book for the week unless we come at 4:30 or 9:45, so we decided to wait till 9:45pm for our table. At that time, there were a few empty tables but they said those were not available. As we were waiting, we saw some other people (who don’t speak Japanese) walk in and ask for a table, but the same staff told them that they have to wait until 9:45pm, so they left. After 15:00mins, a group of three came and asked for a table in Japanese, another staff let them go immediately in even though they didn’t have any reservation ( we actually can understand Japanese but we just don’t feel comfortable speaking.... and the group who got the table also said ‘lucky, we got a table with no reservation in Chinese). And the staff just gave them the table that we saw was empty when we arrived... so how come they didn’t let us have the table!? Immediately we spoke to the staff and they realized that we understand exactly what was going on... so they finally gave us one of the table that we saw was empty when we walked in. If we didn’t understand what they were saying, we probably were forced to wait until 9:45pm and left with only 1 hour to eat... we were very disappointed, never thought that discrimation would happen at one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Japan. There is just no reason for a restaurant to discriminate any of their customers like this, especially this restaurant is located at a visitor area. At the end of the meal, they tried to recover the service with giving us discount, but we rejected their offer and immediately you can tell from the staff’s face that he was pissed off at us for not accepting it. This is not about the money but is how a restaurant should treat their guest in a non discriminating way... Maybe this was just our experience, but we will never return to this restaurant again. Horrible!

“Love this place”
Me and my husband went here one time in Osaka and one more time same brand in Kyoto. If you want good service, food, location and modern enviroment THIS IS THE PLACE FOR U!! We will definitely visit this place again!! Remember reservation through LINE. All you can eat 4000 yen and all you can drink ...1000 yen.
