“Terrible mistake returning”
This is not the first time we’ve visited here or the first time we’ve left unhappy. A number of years ago we visited and my pregnant wife was left to wait over an hour before being told her choice was sold out and had to go elsewhere for food. Returning 2 years later the service and food are wors...e than before. I waited 45 minutes for bland, cold soup and curry. Terrible service and pitiful food. This was once a renowned restaurant for Thai and Balinese food here in Takatsuki now it’s just a joke.

“Real Thai-Indonesian”
There are lots of good points about this place. Here are a few: 1. They have Indonesian and Thai kitchen staff. 2. Unlike most other Thai and Indonesian restaurants in Japan, Nettai Shokudo actually serves spicy food. Their dishes are the real deal. 3. The ambience and decor are quite nice. One ...piece of advice. If you reserve a table, ask for downstairs, which has a much nicer layout than the hastily arranged mess hall-like set-up they have upstairs. All in all, one of the better Thai/Indonesian restaurants I've come across in Japan.
