Had a delicious mushroom pizza for 399 yens! Ok they are quite small but still, worth the money. When you order a drink you also have free refill. The restaurant is on the basement so not very easy to find but it definitely exists! (You need to go down the stairs to see it)

Saizeria is a very large chain of Italian restaurants across Japan. This one on Karasuma is in a central location not too far from Shijo Dori. The successful formula includes: table service, family friendly, good value, beer and wine. The Karasuma branch is downstairs on the lower ground floor/basem...ent level. There are several dishes on the menu for vegetarians. The food is served quickly.

I personally like Saizeriya at Shijo-Teramachi because it is close to where I stayed in Shijo. I ordered corn soup, spinach and bacon and a pasta for dinner, my food came with a free drink. I like the food very much because it was served hot and it was delicious.
