“Good cheap Italian restaurant chain”
This Italian restaurant chain with many locations is a great place to relax: salads, pizza, pasta, hamburg steak, and beer/wine all for around ¥500 or less per item, so you can feed a whole family for cheap. Popular with young couples & students on a budget.

“If you don't want to spend a lot...”
Saizeriya is kind of like the McDonalds of Italian food and shouldn't be held to any false standards to first time visitors. The food is very cheap, comes out quickly, and tastes about as good as you'd expect it to. They have a great selection on the menu and also offer an unlimited coffee/tea.../soft drink station. Wine and beer are very inexpensive. If you want to save money and feel the comfort of pizza and pasta, this place should serve you just fine.
