“Sensational Teppanyaki, prepared and cooked the correct way ”
My Japanese brother-in-law took us here for dinner when we arrived in Osaka. We had the Teppanyaki set menu. The chef was an expert with many years of experience. There was no throwing food or silly games. The food was sliced and diced and cooked with great precision and our mouths watered, waiting... for each tasty morsel to come our way. To start our drinks were served, 2 of us had a glass of beautiful, imported Shiraz. A creamy soup was next, not sure if it was cauliflower or potato, but it was tasty. An entrée of Roast beef and salad was served, when our soup was finished. Wait staff were efficient and silent, the room was quite dark, so things happened like magic. The chef used our mobile phones to take our group photos. The chef then presented our raw cuts of sirloin and eye fillet, before slicing it into four and then dicing them into small pieces and cooking equal shares for four guests. Next a bowl of Miso soup was served, also a bowl of garlic rice and a plate of cooked bean shoots with the small offcuts of the meat. We had a second glass of shiraz when our first glass was empty. Dessert was a plate with some slices of melon, a small slice of cake and a scoop of vanilla icecream. We completed our meal with coffees. All the meal was delicious and the experience showed that we were in a very special restaurant, indeed. A Teppanyaki meal at this restaurant is highly recommended.

“Sumptuous Sukiyaki Dinner”
This was another dining experience, this time, a sukiyaki dinner! This was prepared right before our eyes by an enthusiastic hostess...in the typical Japanese attention to detail.. Everything tasted good!

“Yummy Shabu Shabu”
The restaurant offers different choices such as Shabu Shabu, Sukiyaki and BBQ. However, you will have to inform them your preference as different tables are allocated for the different cooking method as mentioned above. Therefore, you can't have Sukiyaki and Shabu Shabu at the same table unfortunate...ly. Otherwise the beef was very good as we chose the one of the mid price range. Service was excellent. My family enjoyed the lunch there after shopping at the Takashimaya.

“Shabu Shabu with very high quality beef”
This restaurant is situated on the 9th floor of the Takashimaya Shopping Centre. Shabu Shabu is a very simple dish cooking meat and vegetables in boiling hot water. The quality of the dish hinges heavily on the quality of the meat or beef. Fukujukan serves the highest quality Japanese beef in its Sh...abu Shabu, and you can expect to enjoy every mouth of the dish. You should be prepared to pay ¥6000 per person minimum without drinks.
