“Dont be fooled by the reviews, glad I mistakenly ended up here!”
Will admit i was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews. Was raining and i didn't want to walk to far from my room, so I attended and WOW im glad I went! I have spent 10 days now in Kyoto and the cuts provided in the premium package were amazing! For $50 AUD I wish I went sooner because I would h...ave definitely went back just to try the ones I missed. The customer service was also very good and staff kept the place hygienic. English was spoken clearly and each meat was explained before I started to cook. Dont let the reviews fool you, just like myself you will be surprised too! Can definitely recommend.

“Fake, disgusting wagyu beef”
This place is a complete sham. They are the most fraudulent restaurant that I have ever eaten in my life. We ordered the most expensive "premium" set that was all you can eat. The grill barely works, even on the highest heat setting. You order through a qr code on your phone, but they never received... most of the orders we put in. The "wagyu beef" is questionable. We left barely touching our food because the meat was 90% fat and gristle. We had to send back multiple plates, got fed up and just left. The manager was not helpful and the employees were rude. I would give this place negative stars if I could. Stay away!

“Never ever again”
I have been living in Kyoto for the last 10 months and I usually eat outside whenever I can (you can imagine how many different places I must have been to) and I can say this without a doubt that this place was the worst restaurant I have ever been to (in many ways). First of all, as you can see fro...m the attached photo, you are eating next to a trash bin and dirty dishes. The plates they use for you to use to get things from the open buffet had food remains all around them. It was really disgusting. Secondly, the place was extremely noisy, having a chat is impossible. The place was packed with college students so I believe this is their normal. Cheap, low quality, dirty place that can only attract college students. If you want a little bit of privacy AVOID if you want hygiene AVOID if you want some taste on your food AVOID. This is the first time I am giving a one star for a shop and I only wish that I could give a zero. Lastly, AVOID at all costs!

“Best Meat Quality ”
If you are looking for high quality meat perfectly grilled then this is the place in Kyoto. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere will make you come back as well. Try the cube of sirloin.
