One of the better restaurants in Osaka. Food is good and so is the service. Ambience is great too. Recommended.

“Perfect end to our trip to Japan”
We dined here on our last night in Japan before returning to San Francisco. I don't normally eat in hotel restaurants, but made an exception because we were leaving the next morning. I'm so glad we did! The meal was so elegant, it was like theater. The restaurant is small, fewer than twenty seats... and everyone is lined up in front of the grill with the lights of Osaka beyond. The restaurant is on the 22nd floor (which is where the lobby of the Hotel Monterey is). We had the Kobe beef special, which was about $150 per person for everything, including wine. Food was beautifully cooked and presented, service was attentive and impeccable. Very quiet atmosphere compared to the energy and hubbub of Osaka. Don't expect massive amounts of food like at Benihana, or a comedy show from the chef. Our chef was very serious. Reservations are recommended.

“perfect steak”
great place to have real steak, recommend for "Kobe Steak Land" although I don't eat beef but scallop which I had was so wonderful.
