“Yummy tempura bowl”
It was highly recommended by my Friend and I brought my family to try this during our holidays. There was a queue of about 5 persons in front of us but the queue moved pretty fast. I think we waited for about 15 mins. The tempura rice bowl was awesome and the seafood was very fresh. The tempura batt...er was crispy and not thick. Even my kids enjoyed the tempura rice bowl. I would definitely recommend this to my friends who are visiting Osaka.

“Good tempura place”
It has english menu for foreigners, and in my opinion one of the best tempura rice I've ever eaten. Cost was 1800yen and the prawn tempura was especially good

“Food wasn't bad if not memorable, understaffed”
I ordered the osusume lunch which consisted of various pieces of shrimp, 1 long piece of anago, 1 piece of what looked like small white fish in a tempura clump, and a few veggies. Ordered an extra soft boiled tempura egg, which is the first time I had seen such a thing. Also came with chawan mushi..., some pickles, and red miso soup. My wife ordered a donburi style of tempura. Food was OK, batter light and thin, not too oily. Only one guy manning the frying of tempura, so customers are only served a few pieces at a time. Unfortunately, this means you could finish eating all your rice before the next items come. I didn't get my last item until maybe 20~25 minutes later. The chawan mushi was probably the best item of the meal. It was cooked perfectly and very soft. Since my wife's was a donburi, hers came all at once. It came with shishamo (smelt), kisu, sweet potato, shrimp, and a few other veggie items. Also came with pickles and red miso soup. There was one waitress and one other guy in the front. We went around 12PM, and there were approx. 7 or so other customers in there. The place is small, I'd say around 20 seats. Midway through our meal, about 4 more customers entered. Our teas didn't get refilled, they forgot one of my items (the chawan mushi), and as mentioned earlier, my last tempura item didn't come till I was pretty much done with everything else. I would not go back. The restaurant just didn't stand out. The restaurant is located on the 16th floor of the Daimaru building. In the depachika (one of the Daimaru basement floors), there is a station that sells pre-made tempura from the same restaurant. If I had more time, I would try Makino near Temma station.
