“Worst Tempura Ever...”
Don’t waste your time or money at this place. Four of us all ordered the tempura box for 1500 yen each. Ever piece of tempura was so soggy that you couldn’t even eat it. Not sure if they poured tempura sauce on it before it was delivered or what but it was disgusting. The servers were friendly... enough but the woman in charge was just rude to us... apparently we arrived within 30 minutes of closing time and all she wanted to do was rush us to order and eat. If it’s too close to closing time to offer a decent meal and friendly service just don’t accept any more customers... With so many amazing restaurants in Kyoto, we definitely won’t be returning to this one.

“Amazing tastes”
Despite only seating 20 or 25 this place has a view of Yasaka Pagoda from one window and a cute shrine through the other. Stunning food, immaculately presented. Not sure how we stumbled upon it, but it’s the official restaurant to the Kodaiji museum off Nene-no-michi.
