“known for party menu and biryani apparently”
Owned by a Nepali chap, this place is a cozy humble place for good Indian food! Service was great and staff were quite cordial. They’re known for party menu and biryani apparently, so if you’re hosting one maybe you can check it out here for the food!

“very traditionsl”
Infact home away from home, one can could enjoy this delicacy, the chef prepared in an authentic indian style, enjoyed eating every bite of it. What can I say the masala tea or called Chai was very much indian taste, hats off to all staff at this restaurant.

“Excellent Indian food.”
Having traveled in India and being an Indian foodie, I have nothing but great things to say about Diwali and the care they put into their amazing meals. The service is fast; the food prepared when ordered (no processed pre-made food for this staff) but they work fast and have your piping hot, perfec...tly spiced meal on your table within a short time. I had the Ladies' meal and was unable to finish, and unable to order dessert - too full. This is our second time in one week, which is odd because we are in Japan and should be eating Japanese food, but we just loved it here and the atmosphere is friendly, clean and not crowded. Just a great spot all around!

“Good value”
5/5 because of friendly staff, great food and very, very cheap. 3800 Yen for dinner and 2 drinks for 2 persons. Good value for the money!

“Comfort Nepalese food”
After a long flight and absence of vegetarian food around our hotel, we happily settled at Diwali per our hotel’s recommendation. Taxi driver and everyone were laughing – you came to Japan to eat Indian food? The owner, who spoke some English, explained what dishes are suitable for the vegetaria...n, and we started ordering our food. Samosas, channa masala, the yellow daal, chapatti…everything was very good. Our non-vegetarian friend ordered mamos (Nepalese dumplings) and loved them.
