“Not revolving revolving Sushi”
This is a Sushi restaurant in front of Keihan Uji station. It used to be very crowded with tourists before, but this time due to Covid19 I could take a seat without waiting. Although it is a revolving Sushi restaurant, you can actually order individually by using a touch panel. Compared to other 100... yens restaurants, it is of course more expensive, but it is delicious. Recommendable.

“Very unfriendly staff. First”
Very unfriendly staff. First time we met u friendly people in Japan. Spoke poor English. Phone charging wasn't possible, although there was a socket available. First time in the world I couldn't use a socket to charge my phone (as a paying customer).

“Good for value and decent sushi place”
I am vegetarian and traveling with my parents. We were in Uji around lunch time and spotted this place. It had a large variety of sushi and also palatable side dishes at very cheap prices, such as udon, soba etc. The place is well lit and pleasant. We had to wait for a while for a seat. However ther...e were benches for waiting and you can get a queue number. While waiting you can go to the washroom or use your handphone. For ordering, they have a touch pad for each customer and you can select your own language, there were four or five language selection available. You can either order the sushi, sashimi or other dishes or drinks you want or just pick them from the train. Everyone can prepare your own tea for free, there is a container with tea powder and you can just scoop and add hot water from the tap at your table. Wasabi and ginger is also provided. You pay according to the color of the plate holding the item you ate. Service is quite good and fast. I had natto sushi, sushi with eggplant, sushi with corn, inari, sushi with cucumber and sushi with pickles. My mum loves udon and their udon was extremely delicious and cheap. Their Hokkaido milk pudding was also very delicious. We liked the food so much that after our visit to the nearby Byodoin, we came back and ordered another udon and also dessert.

“Running Sushi”
It's a big running sushi restaurant. It seems to be quite popular, we came early but many people were waiting when we left. You can take sushi on the running band or order some preselected sushi on a plate. They were quite good and fresh, the staff was very friendly, the price was reasonable: all in... all a good place to have lunch after a visit in Uji temples.

“Casual sushi restaurant near Keihan Uji Railway Station area”
This is a casual sushi restaurant near Keihan Uji Railway Station area. Or it is located at the eastern side of the Uji Bridge. A typical kaiten-sushi restaurant with an open atmosphere. Sushi servers and waiters and waitresses are all cheerful and friendly. Sushi ingredients were fresh and the ...pricing was reasonable. We enjoyed a small amount of suhi as that's all we wanted to have in the mid-afternoon before heading back to Kyoto after seeing the Byodo-in Temple complex.
