“Classy wine bar with vegetarian options”
Good quality ingredients. Fresh and tasty salads with tangy dressing. Very good gnocchi. Sparkling wine not bad.

“Quiet Spanish wine bar”
Apartment is an oddly-named Spanish wine bar underneath the equally oddly-named Paradol building. The cheerful hosts serve a range of wines, principally Spanish, but have a full bar as well. Their menu is not especially long, but includes a good many tapas, with an emphasis on fresh cured ham (nama-...hamu, in Japanese). They buy a whole leg at a time from a fancy place in Kyushu, and it's excellent. Wifi is available, most of the room is non-smoking (and it doesn't seem to drift much), the music is inoffensive if somewhat repetitive. Prices are rather low, considering the quality. Open until 2am, as well, so a good place to wind down an evening quietly with friends.
