Shabu shabu chicken meat was tasteless, beef meat was low quality. Service was not as per Japanese standard , they also refused to split the bill in two. No surprise the place was half empty at dinner time. There are so many far better choices in Kyoto where to eat good food at good price and get g...ood service as well.

“A bit disappointing”
Was quite disappointed with this restaurant. I booked a table due to its high reviews. The service was ok, had to ring a bell every time we needed something. The broth kept cooking out and the place smelt burnt. Bathroom was quite dirty, same with the salt shaker and sauce containers.

“Overrated and overpriced”

“Irresponsible resturant who took booking online and to turn them away”
Make reservation at 6pm. Went there early as it is not near our hotel. Took train there and shock to hear them saying there are no more seats as they accept a group reservation. But my reservation is confirmed and they just turn us away. The resturant operator is not responsible to the confirmed boo...king. They care to take group bookings without taking into account ppl who has booked online. Trip advisor- pls do not recommend this place to ppl.

good shabu shabu! good for family, soup is flavourful, not salty. highly recommend if around kyoto station
