“Good taste, quality meat ”
Had the lunch set here for 1680yen a set. Meat is good portion is small though. Adequate for moderate eater. Meat is sliced slightly thinner than expected, almost shabu shabu thin. Would prefer it if it was thicker. Then again this is the promo lunch set, couldn’t complain much for the price paid fo...r. The set comes with a glass noodle beef stew which was superb. The beef is so tender it melts in your mouth. Side dishes was good, more of a Korean meal side dish with kimchi. Overall a good and affordable lunch spot for quality yakiniku meat! Would want to try the dinner here some day, unfortunately they do not have English menu. So it would be difficult to order

“EXCELLENT FOOD, NO SMOKING, NO PROBLEM??.......”
I wanted to try a grilled beef restaurant in Osaka, so by train went to Tsuruhashi station area of Osaka (known for them), to find one to try. This restaurant is very close by to the station. Cant remember any pointers for which exit to take out of the station, sorry. Our first question was is th...is a non smoking establishment, which the staff did not understand, but young students said in English you will be ok here, so we pulled up a chair and ordered our meals. No English menu, but staff happy to show pictures/explain as best they could. My other half is vegan, but found a picture of a soup that appeared to suit (minus the boiled egg, easily removed). Turned out to be a cold soup, delicious cold soup. My meal was just what I wanted, rice, pickled vegetables, thin beef I grilled on the little electric grill on each table or bench. Really delicious food. The real surprise/find was the cold soup. Gorgeous, no idea what its name is but great. NON SMOKING, no it is not. Much to our alarm, lady next to us light up. We looked in astonishment at her, as she had seen us asking about the place being non smoking and as it took awhile to establish this point, she must have known what we had asked. So when we looked at her with alarm, she said, continuing to light up, "no problem, it's ok". We were still confused/bemused, until we saw that she held the cigarette right under the extremely efficient exhaust fan above each grill. Solved the problem for us, as we couldn't hardly smell the smoke and were not affected by it...... it surprised us. Not sure I liked the idea that my griller could have been used by a previous smoking patron and their ash may have fallen in it, but as the grills are so very very hot, I guess there wouldn't have been much ash left in it, if any. I watched them clean up the lady's grill once she had left and they were meticulous in doing so. So I do recommend this non, non-smoking, grilled beef restaurant.

“Dinner this time”
Came back to Osaka, early December. This time had dinner with 8 persons. Again, an excellent meal at a reasonable charge, even though it was a dinner menu. About yen 9000 for a set menu for 2 to 3. So we ordered 3 sets for 8 of us (full day of shopping) plus 2 additional meat orders. We may have o...rdered a bit much but it did not take any encouragement to finish the servings. No complaints and everyone left totally satisfied. I suggest you avoid the highly advertised and reviewed yakiniku restaurants and try this first. IMPORTANT!! Avoid the second floor tatami rooms as one has to sit on the floor Japanese style and if you're not used to this it will be very uncomfortable to say the least.

“Very good value and excellent taste”
Lunch during silver week. Crowded and asked to wait 50 minutes. Well worth the wait. 3 of us ordered the set lunch which had beef for the yakiniku, soup, various small dishes and bibimbap. We also ordered 2 extra orders of good Japanese beef. Very good meal for about 3000 yen per person. The ev...ening prior one of our party had dinner at a recommended yakiniku restaurant with friends and paid 11,000 yen per person with a lot less to eat. He said that Meigetsukan was just as good at one third the price. He went back for lunch again the next day.

“Delicious! ”
We had the most amazing BBQ lunch here. No English menu so we ordered set lunches from menu photos. The 1450 yen set came with an incredible beef based soup. The 1000 yen set was smaller but we had plenty of food between us. The beef was wonderfully fatty and delicious on the BBQ. We ordered ex...tra daikon Kimchi that was fresh and tasty. We will definitely return when we visit the Korean market across the street.
