“Great Izakaya”

Our Ryokan recommended that Izakaya close to our hotel ( a few minutes North of Kyoto Station). It was different than the other Izakayas but very nice. There was one english menu with pictures. We thought the place was empty from the outside but it was full (6 tables plus 10 or so seats at the count...er). Dishes were probably a bit more complex than the original Izakayas. There's maybe a hint of Indian but it's mostly Japanese Food.
