“Convenient restaurant near Umeda stations”
The good thing in my Japanese stay is that I always got to find a restaurant offering the specialty I wanted to taste, right when I wanted it. This one makes no exception and there I could discover okonomiyaki. The menus outside don't help much if you can't understand Japanese but an English menu is... availiable on request. I wasn't sure about this speciality before this evening. The preparation time isn't fast but it's very fun to watch the cooks working on their huge teppanyakis from the counter. I had the bacon regular okonomiyaki. You get it served on an oblong teppanyaki that makes the whole length of the counter, and with a metal spatula to cut it. Then the waitress brushes the surface with several sauces and bonite powder. The result is really tasty and satiating. After that, I wanted to try something else, because the menu is quite extensive. Initially planning to order yakisoba or yakiudon, my eyes stopped on "gyusuji nikomi" and I decided to give it a try and got a small marmite with beef and mushrooms. I don't like the latter then I can't judge but the beef is one of the most tender and juicy I ever could savour. To conclude, the bill was really fair for such delicious foods.
