“A comfortable place for brekkie”
This small cafe is located on the ground floor near Daimaru of the Osaka Station. It appears to be a modernised japanese cafe and has retained its smoking room for those who wishes to smoke while having their meal. The food for breakfast was standard eggs, toast, waffles with coffee, tea or iced ...tea. The reason I give this a 4 stars is that the cost and the quality of the meal were pleasing and it was not too crowded and was able to accommodate the 5 of us. It was a good option for a light breakfast before embarking of the day's journey.

“Updated old school Japanese coffee house”
Located on the ground floor of the Daimaru Department store, facing Osaka Station. This is an old style Japanese kissaten that has been updated to modern standards. Usually smoking is allowed. This place has a smoking room. Cheap breakfast. Toast, sausage and egg for about 500 yen with coffee.... Coffee is the Japanese style thick stuff. It wasn't great but can't beat the price.

“Smoking is allowed in this restaurant!”
We enjoyed our breakfast of omelet rice with tomato sauce, but were very uncomfortable with all the smokers in the café. It ruined what would have been a nice breakfast.
