“Oishi Sushi”
Stayed in the Rejoice Stay apartment's and this restaurant was one minute away. Both were excellent choices. We had a blast in KuraSushi did not have a clue what to do at start but some locals and staff helped us out. My son loved doing the ordering it was great fun. Best value we have had in Japan ...and the food was pretty good. Loved the 500 yen coin Kirin Draught machine I think there might be a market for this back in Ireland. Slainte

“Good sushi with cheap prices”
After seeing quite a few reviews on this restaurant, I had insisted to go try it out. This is located in a more local region and is a few minutes away from Nijo station. Despite reading about long waits for a table, we chose a unpopular time (around 2pm) on a week day, and were seated right away. Su...shi is very good considering the 100 yen price, and everything tasted really fresh. There is also a game for every five plates you eat, and if you win, you will receive a small prize. Keep in mind that this restaurant has very little English, so be prepared if the staff cannot understand you. Overall a nice local sushi place with good prices and tasty food.

“Yummy Sushi ”
We want in with five adults we had 50 plates sushi end up ¥5000 pretty cheap but very nice .the restaurant staff doesn’t speak English.

This is the first restaurant I went to when I came to Japan. Cheap and good Sushi, and I love the vibe!

“Typical conveyor belt sushi”
First you need to wait, in the early evening it was about 30 minutes in our case. Then they don't speak a word in English so if you don't have someone who can interpret (I had) then you're in trouble. But then finally you get very good sushi for an equally good price, so it's worth it after all.
