Kura-ZushiNijo

After reading the reviews, we decided to give it a try! The restaurant was near Nijo JR but far from any tourist hotspots (which was good!). Getting a table for us was quick by tapping on a tablet. We did not get the sushi on the conveyor but ordered via the tablet and the dishes were delivered to u...s fast and privately. Sushi quality was lovely good, especially the fat tuna, scallops, and octopus. We ended up our meal with 50 dishes for 4 people. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Stayed in the Rejoice Stay apartment's and this restaurant was one minute away. Both were excellent choices. We had a blast in KuraSushi did not have a clue what to do at start but some locals and staff helped us out. My son loved doing the ordering it was great fun. Best value we have had in Japan ...and the food was pretty good. Loved the 500 yen coin Kirin Draught machine I think there might be a market for this back in Ireland. Slainte

After seeing quite a few reviews on this restaurant, I had insisted to go try it out. This is located in a more local region and is a few minutes away from Nijo station. Despite reading about long waits for a table, we chose a unpopular time (around 2pm) on a week day, and were seated right away. Su...shi is very good considering the 100 yen price, and everything tasted really fresh. There is also a game for every five plates you eat, and if you win, you will receive a small prize. Keep in mind that this restaurant has very little English, so be prepared if the staff cannot understand you. Overall a nice local sushi place with good prices and tasty food.

We want in with five adults we had 50 plates sushi end up ¥5000 pretty cheap but very nice .the restaurant staff doesn’t speak English.
