“Good food & great service and reasonable prices ”
We visited Fushimi Inari late. When we got out, most of the restaurants near the temple were already closed. We walked toward bus stop and found many places still open along the bus route. This was close to the bus stop. We ordered Kara-age meal set and Japanese soup stock (dashi based) ramen. Both ...were freshly prepared piping hot dishes by the friendly ladies with big smiles in the kitchen. Waiter was very helpful and attentive. I don’t live there but I wish I had that restaurant in my town! It was that nice.

“Incredibly good”
It may have been climbing Fushimi-Inari in 39 degree C heat but this was one of the highlights of our recent holiday in Japan. It was authentic, it was delicious, it was superb. The food was amazing, the service was delightful, charming and perfect. despite being busy and struggling with so many for...eign customers some of whom were not so polite the waitress exuded charm and the most winning and unassuming character. We delighted in her little run as she hurried from table to table. This was Japanese magic at its best. The food was amazing, the service unbeatable and the value for money was stunning.Even so - we had to order more food as it was SO good. Oh how I wish this was nearby but make no mistake we WILL be visiting again. We would travel many miles to do so. It sincerely rates as one of the most memorable meals I and we as a family have ever had. And did I mention the waitress? She was lovely.

“Delicious”
Visited with my mother and my sister, they both had the Ramen for vegetarian and I had the Tantan chilli hot noodles for vegetarian. Welcoming and friendly staff however when took our orders only took meals and left the table without taking drink orders which left us slightly confused - not sure if ...this was a language barrier issue. But when they delivered the food we asked then and they had given us water when we sat down so no issues. Food was amazing, taste was full and delicious and the chilli in my own dish had a kick but not blow your head off. Really lovely restaurant and will be returning during our stay in Kyoto, easy access for anyone visiting the inari shrine. Would definitely recommend 😊

“Great Chinese Restaurant”
I decided to have lunch at Chinese Kinchan with my partner. This is a casual restaurant, so you don't have to worried about a dress code. That's a big plus for tourists. We ordered fried rice and some other side dishes. We trully enjoyed the food and service was excellent! If you are going to visit ...Fushimi Shrine, this restaurant is located within a walking distance. We strongly recommend you to stop by Chinese Kinchan for lunch and dinner!!!!

“Terrible Service”
I will preface this by saying that while my husband and I can only speak a little bit of Japanese, we had no problems communicating our orders at any other restaurant in Japan. First, the waitress came up to our table, took my order, and then walked away before my husband could say a word. (We later... saw her do the same thing to another couple). When it was clear she was not coming back, my husband approached the counter and named the dish he would like to order for himself. Unfortunately, it was the same dish I had ordered so they must have thought he was just confirming, because only one meal was served at our table. After I had finished eating my meal, and there was no sign of my husband's, he again asked for his meal, to a different waitress this time. She understood straight away, apologised, and sent the request to the kitchen promptly. Also, my meal included miso soup but I was only provided with chopsticks. The sweet and sour pork was pretty good, but the experience was heavily marred by the appalling service of that one waitress. Would not recommend.
