“A taste of India in Kyoto- very nice experience”
The restaurant feeling and decor was very pleasant . Staff were really friendly and helpful and food was delicious. Also had Indian wine for the first time and it was good .An unexpected find in Kyoto

“Great, flavourful Indian food…outside of Manchester!!!”
Really wanted something different for our evening meal so plumbed for Indian and found this place. Had a bottle of Japanese red Zinfandel wine….who knew india made wine…..but it was very good. The food was delicious and very flavourful. We had the mutton saag which was a medium heat, unfortunatel...y we can not eat the really hot Indian food anymore but this was a perfect heat for us, and the butter chicken which was very mild and slightly sweet which we enjoyed. We had the Indian dough balls, gulab jamul which were delicious, tried Japanese whiskey and had sake. Had a lovely chat with the owner afterwards and learnt a lot about Japanese culture and that of India, he was very interesting and spoke really good English. Had a lovely evening, can highly recommend.

“Excellent Indian Restaurant”
I’ve eaten in many, many Indian restaurants over the years, in different cities in both the UK and India, and this restaurant is up there with the best meals I’ve ever had. The cooking was brilliantly executed, with stand-outs including aloo gobi and tarka dal. It’s clearly popular and I can underst...and why. If we’re ever in Kyoto again, it’s definitely a restaurant we’d revisit.

“Great Indian Food, Superb Service”
I been to many Indian restaurants in the USA, and this Indian Restaurant in Kyoto beats a vast majority of them by a mile. In fact, it is one of the best Indian restaurants that I have been to. The food is authentic and made from scratch. The staff and the owner are very accommodating and welcomin...g. There are also wide variety entrees to choose, ranging from vegetarian to non-vegetarian. I highly recommend that you all check out this hidden gem located near the riverfront. Wish we had this restaurant in the USA.

“Amazing food and great service”
This restaurant has some really good Indian food and staff was amazing. My wife is vegetarian so we’re happy to find vegetarian food during our trip. Would recommend this place for a more formal dinner experience
