“Bad experience”
We had a really bad experience there, as the staff was unable to understand a single English word. Food was decent, but way overpriced, as was the beer (800 yen for half a pint). We went in there for a drink looking for a all you can drink menu, but apparently we could not get it, but the Japanese p...eople in the bar could. Really disappointed. Don’t bother going there.

“Loved it. ”
This is a great place to have a fee nibbles and drinks. We enjoyed the drinks more than the food. It reminds me of tapas places with nibbles and drinks.

“We went twice in two days! ”
You must go with a Japanese friend to translate the menu and order all the goods. Once ordered, we had amazing experience. A big attraction for us was the wide selection of seasonal vegetables which are served grilled. Lotus root was one such discovery. Delicious fish, sushi and chicken.

“Amazing place, fair price.”
I raccommend Bansan to all fo you, who are in Kyoto. Wonderful place,nice neighborhood, very kind people and above all very good food. Try it, you wont be disappointed.
