“Very nice and convenient for castle”
The New Otani Hotel in Osaka is a beautiful hotel which is in striking distance of the Osakajo Castle. Ideal if wishing to visit the Cherry blossom festival. Sakura. It is literally just over the bridge to the castle grounds. The high level bar has a stunning view of the castle. The hotel is very ...modern with all the usual commodities and even has its own shopping arcade. Be warned however, although this is a large hotel. Booking early should be advised especially around the projected Sakura season. We were lucky to get a cancellation. It gets very full quickly.

“Great Location and Luxe Hotel”
I am so comfortable with the location of this hotel. It’s near Osakajokoen Station JR line and Osaka business line subway. The location is very convenient and peaceful. It’s away from noisy and busy street. The hotel lobby is grand and luxurious. Another good thing about thw lovation, Osaka Castle i...s just 10minutes walk.

“Beautiful hotel! Large rooms, not great location ”
Great stay. Large rooms, great baby cot with bedding to match. Close to station and has great food places at the station. Staff is amazing and helpful. Downside- no body lotion in hotel amenities. No complimentary late check outs. Can't use the indoor and outdoor pool without paying per visit! Ridi...culous. No night life outside the hotel. It boasts being close to the park and castle. That is all that it is close too! Nothing else to offer to be honest. Advice- stay at or close to osaka station or in namba. Loads of shops, restaurants- traditional and western. Easy to travel from airport or train stations without changing lines too much. Stay at swissotel Nankai osaka. We stayed here after the new otani and it was much better

“Good Korean style meal in Osaka”
Not much English to assist but we made it work. We stuck to the seafood and thoroughly enjoyed both the experience (you cook it yourself in the grill in the middle of your table) and the food quality. Plenty of space between tables meant it was quiet and a harpist playing made for a pleasant dining ...experience.
