Raffinato

This review is for Raffinato Italian Bar, not the nearby affiliated restaurant. First, the interior is strange - a room within a room, as though the owners did not know what style they wanted so they took two. Next, the food. Three of us went for lunch. The pasta was OK but nothing special; the c...offee was OK but nothing special, although the latte art was good. The server forgot to bring part of our order and when we reminded her, she acted as though we had not ordered it in the first place. The teeny-tiny baby-sized biscotti were tooth-breakingly hard. Even after soaking them in our cappuccinos, they retained their rock-like consistency. Finally, the price - unbelievable. Far, far higher than could reasonably be expected - completely out of line with similar facilities as well as out of line with the offerings - special occasion dinner prices for a casual lunch. To make matters worse, cappuccino is priced at 500 yen on the board over the bar, but we were charged 600 yen. When we questioned that we were told that our price was different. No kidding!
