“Exquisite, wonderful French cuisine”
Chef Nakahara-san serves up world class French cuisine in his cozy little restaurant here in Kyoto. His staff was outstanding and unobtrusive. He was kind enough to gift my wife a beautiful flower for our anniversary meal there. His food is astoundingly delicious, creative, and exquisite. Incr...edibly fresh. Wonderful wine pairing that perfectly balanced his creations. We will definitely return on our next visit. Elegant French food created by a lovely and very skilled Japanese chef using superb local ingredients. A small and intimate atmosphere with impeccable service. Each dish is beautifully presented adding to the wonderful flavors.

“Absolutely stunning!!!”
This place is amazing!! Truly. While the cuisine is French, as a whole the restaurant is very Japanese. Tiny - with just 8 seats - and hence with an incredible level of service. This place excels in nearly every measure. The food is stunning. Very very well executed, it is precise in taste, textur...e and language. Great consistency througouht the dishes, amazing purity of ingredients! Stunning culinary experience. Wine list is (very) short but well curated with a focus on burgundy. Just go with the by the glass recommendations and you will be fine (also price wise, they are very reasonable). All in all this place ROCKS!
