“Top Japanese traditional cuisine (Kaiseki)”
We came here for dinner with our Japanese friend who is a true gourmet. We booked the private room to allow some intimate conversations. The top-class Kaiseki, the traditional Japanese cuisine, is offered here and the menu changes weekly to best capture seasonal ingredients and present various ways ...of cooking. We've been living in Osaka >2 years and are good eaters trying all sorts of nice food actively. We thought we know Kaiseki pretty well, but this restaurant even exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed each and every bite! Everything was extremely fresh and superbly prepared and presented. Chef told us that 80 kinds of ingredients had been used in our dinner. The wild pig was hunted in Tottori by a professional hunter who is able to eliminate the smell and keep the meat tender and fresh. The chef and staff are super friendly and can also speak some English. If you are looking for Japanese high-end cuisine, this is the place that you better try. Reservation is recommended as it is a small place with 5 seats only around the open kitchen and a private room for 4 people.
