“Great Kappo dining experience”
We just finish dinner at this place. Chose this place based on other recommendations. Great food and immaculate presentation with awesome tasting menu. The chef reminds me of a mix of Japanese with French influence with his touch of flavoring with the various sauces and creams. Highly recommended... when in Osaka. Little or no English spoken but there is a English menu of the items being served. Portions are small but filling. Average dinner price was about 20,000y (tax n service included). There are more expensive set available for dinner.

“Just wonderful from start to finish”
Our group of 3 Australian couples (mid 60s) enjoyed the most fantastic meal. Every dish immaculately prepared with great skill and artistry in front of us, each course quite unique and every taste sublime. Yes it’s pricey and yes it’s extremely hard to secure a booking (especially for 6) but it is... worth it! Mr Kingawa is a serene presence in a remarkably quiet but busy kitchen but he’s assiduously preparing food then washing dishes! We had a few beers and a very decent burgundy for AUD$80 (there are other more expensive options) and this could not have been a better way to finish our wonderful 18 day trip of this beautiful country. Up there with Tsurutokame in Tokyo as the top meals of our trip

“Quality fine dining”
A small place sitting 14 pax, Kigawa serves excellent fine dining cuisine in a cosy setting. You can view the chefs working away while having your food. We ordered the set lunch and it was both filling and delicious. Although there were no fancy ingredients, the cooking was exquisite, fresh and fl...avourful. Definitely a place to visit on every trip to Osaka!

“Hidden gem in Dotonbori”
The best tasting menu we've had in Japan! Every dish was so elegantly presented, carefully prepared and delicious. Not to mention the great selection of Sake that paired perfectly with the dishes. Highly recommended.
