We came to this sushi restaurant again. The staff was friendly as always. We ordered Maguro Sushi, Chawamushi, Tempura, Grilled Aji which tasted very good. The price is quite reasonable compare to good quality and very good service.

Amazing lunch. Assorted Natural Sashimi for 2700¥. Had an hour layover in Shin-Osaka and picked Maru based on TA reviews. Did not disappoint. I’m a very seasoned traveller. I found it a bit more challenging than other posts here to find. It’s located inside the train station building but outside of ...ticket gates. Everything inside ticket gates looks to be contract concessions/chains. Find the level 2F food court. Then find the wall map where it shows the restaurants and location. Maru is #22. Sushi and egg miso were amazing.

Tokumori set features 15 pieces of sushi with medium range of fish. As expected. Sake steamed clam tasted good. Also cam with akadashi miso soup with few more pieces of clam. Reasonable price settings and convenient location at Shin Osaka train station

Awesome sushi experience at this small shop beside Shin Osaka Station. Freshness of the fish, eel and octopus are guaranteed. Very good service too. Try their Maru Sushi set which contains 12 sushi pcs. of blue fin tuna, salmon, prawn, eel, octopus, Japanese egg, and other fresh fish. Two other ...recommendations are Marinated Seafood rice bowl set and the Grilled Conger Eel boxed sushi. All 3 meals come with red miso soup with clams. They serve complimentary hot green tea. Perfect meal to have before you ride the train or the bus to your next destination.
