We popped into this udon house for lunch just next to the bridge below the monkey park and we’re not disappointed. There is a QR code to order off the English menu and service was welcoming efficient and speedy. Within moments of submitting our order drinks were at our table and not long after the ...enormous bowls of udon noodles which were soooooo good especially on a cool day. Oh and I might have developed a taste for hot sake!

Untied you have tasted beautifully hand made udon you can’t appreciate the difference. We order the best 3 recommended dishes amongst 2 of us and we were not disappointed. The udon was heavenly, the tempura so light, duck meat and egg in noodles, omg simply the best. It’s a bit pricey in comparison ...but well worth it.

Nice restaurant and pricing reasonable for being in a very touristic area. Staff friendly. Food was good, the meat wasn't necessary outstanding that's why I rate it 4* only. Good for families as well.

Visited at 12:00 noon on August Friday. Unfortunately, the weather is bad and the streets in Arashiyama are less than usual The store is full of inbound customers that seem to be Chinese. In the calm shop, the store manager kindly offered a recommended menu. The shop is a calm space with a woody sce...nt, which makes you forget the heat of summer. We order beef line hot spring curry udon which is highly rated in other reviews. The food came out 10 minutes after ordering. The homemade handmade noodles are finished with a thickness that fits well with curry and are delicious. In addition, the stewed beef streaks are soft and feel like eating beef stew. And when you drank the soup all at once, you're already full. If you come to this store, I'd like you to order beef sushi Ontama curry udon.
