Although the food was quite good, we were shocked when we saw the charge for recommended items from our chef that we ordered. The portions were light to moderate and the lunch bill was over $500. USD for three people. We learned a lesson. Ouch.

Good points: 1. Meat’s flavor is incomparable. It was juicy, flavorful, and sumptuous. Probably one of the best I’ve tasted. 2. Salad was lovely, side dishes were great Bad points: 1. Chef was arrogant from the start. See photo for reference. He was pushy when it comes to what my family should ord...er but we stood our ground and ordered what we wanted anyway. No sense of customer service at all (not hospitable nor presentable). But when another couple (different race) came in the restaurant, he smiled at them and treated them better. 2. Food was pricey. For only 300g, we paid 36,000 jpy. It is simply not worth it with the type of service from the chef. Overall - though the food was great but the experience was traumatizing.

Me and my family went to the restaurant as per the recommendation of our tour guide in Kobe. We wanted to get 300g of 2 kinds of meat and we will share since we travelled a long way just to eat the authentic Kobe Beef from Kobe, Japan. The chef was rude telling us we should order more for us to be a...ble to eat there. We did and he was still not satisfied but he allowed us to order. The whole time he was rude to us and he didn’t really engage with us and when other customers came in he was engaging with them more than us. Overall, the food and meat were really good but not really worth the price but the restaurant service is self is super poor. I will definitely not comeback to this restaurant but I am glad I got to experience their meat. The chef with glasses was more friendly and I hope he was the one who served us instead.

The dinner is sumptuous & the Kobe beef is indeed mouth-watering. No deserts and soup . But feels that the price of the beef could be cheaper ! I personally dislike the high service tax & consumption tax which feels it is too expensive - close to 5000 ¥. Feels that the menu should already inc...luded service & consumption tax ! This is very different from other Japanese restaurants I have patronised - so that the guests will not be caught off-guard by any surprises.

Come across here when walking around ikuta road here looking for my first kobe premiums steak. This place caught my eye and once i stepped in im glad i did. Very welcoming chef and explained the menu to me ect:upon looking over it i went for the 80g premium in a set which come with salad and rice. W...as a fantasic experience watching the chef putting hes skills of cooking a steak the absoulte right way and just taking pride in hes work where as the presentation was just great for the plate. Steak was pure mouth melting beef was a soft as butter sinking my teeth into it really took my time to really enjoy each bite right up until that very last piece. All followed up by tea and some watermelon was a great experince trying some fine cut steak in japan here and all for 4,290yen
